Since clinching their maiden Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda in May, ArmsUp Motorsports has enjoyed their share of podium finishes at each subsequent event, most recently at the Allied Building Products Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio. Between drivers Peter Portante and Aaron Telitz, the Wisconsin team earned three podiums in each of the three races.

Almost two months have gone by since ArmsUp Motorsports celebrated their first USF2000 race win in Round 7 at Lucas Oil Raceway. Rounds 8 and 9 of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda take place this weekend at the Honda Indy Toronto. The past month has been a busy one for the Wisconsin based team, with several tests and new partnerships formed during the break. Riding that momentum, it's back to business this week for Aaron Telitz, Peter Portante and James Dayson on the downtown 1.75 mile, 11 turn street circuit.

ArmsUp Motorsports Wins at Lucas Oil Raceway

Saturday at Lucas Oil Raceway, ArmsUp Motorsports earned their first overall win in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda. Twenty-two year old rookie Aaron Telitz started in 6th place to win his first race on an oval. The event proved to be a strong run for the Wisconsin based team, as Peter Portante raced strong to gain considerable ground from his 13th place starting position to finish 7th. An impressive pass on Jake Eidson in traffic earned Portante the RePlay XD Move of the Race Award. ArmsUp Motorsports also won the PFC Award and a customized Race Energy charger on their race winning weekend.

Saturday at Barber Motorsports Park, ArmsUp Motorsports earned their first podium finish of the 2014 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda season. Twenty-three year old Aaron Telitz from Birchwood, Wisconsin started in 4th Saturday afternoon to race clean and methodically to the podium.

Mazda Scholarship Winner Telitz Joins ArmsUp Motorsports in 2014

Today ArmsUp Motorsports announced the addition of American Aaron Telitz as the third driver to the team for the 2014 season of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda.
